As a leading murder barrister, Bill has successfully acted for defendants in many high profile cases, including that of Colin Stagg who was accused of the Wimbledon Common murder of Rachel Nickel who was found not guilty following legal submissions made by Bill. murder when defended by Bill.
Among his other notable cases as a leading murder barrister, Bill also acted for the David Duckenfield , the police officer in charge of the Hillsborough Stadium when the Liverpool supporters were killed and who was charged with their unlawful killing. The trial was stopped after the first jury failed to agree upon a verdict.
